Got the cab off the frame this morning. Then this afternoon got the frame mostly stripped down.

That frame is beautiful! Are those shock tower extensions? Yes, I won't be using those though. Is that a belly-up skid plate I see? Aaron Yes, first one I made, was on Tracy's TJ. Doesn't take long when it's only half put together, and most nuts are loose! Having a tractor with a front end loader in the yard helps too.

No, spent the morning moving parts to other buildings and out of/into the shop. All set for the winter now. Cab back in the shop on a dolly.

That would look good, but not for my Jeep.
Didn't have time for much today, welded a brace across the frame rails and cut the rear UCA mounts off. Ready to cut the frame next. Tracy picked up material at Metals R Us for me today to lengthen the frame.

Haven't had much time last few days, but this afternoon I started working on the frame extensions. Frame is 2.5" x 4" X .160, what I could get is 3 x4 x 3/16, so I had to section it. Not bad for a plasma cut. Was going to cut the frame behind the body mount, but I think I will take the mount off and cut it there instead. It will be easier to check for alignment with more straight frame behind the cut. Going to have to move my brace forward too.
