Nice. Did you mig the axle tube/diff seam. or use rods?

I have the proper rods for welding steel to cast, but the mig actually does a better job welding the housings and knuckles.
It's nice to have my own 210 amp mig now!

Right on, was wondering cause it looks like mig, and I knew you use rods sometimes. (not a mig/nickle rod debate! lol)

The 8.8 has a big edge on the bottom to catch on rocks, so I smoothed it out some with 3/8" plate. Should slide over rocks better now. Great idea !! I might have to steal it , and use it as my own lol

Got all the wiring out of the Dakota. It took about 10 minutes for the under hood, 2 hours for the under dash!

Got all the wiring out of the Dakota. It took about 10 minutes for the under hood, 2 hours for the under dash! the only easy efi i've come across, was the early ford stuff. plugged into the older wiring harness, just 3 wires to play with :-) we've had good luck with using the mig on alot of cast peices. usually needs to be a higher quality cast, but sure is alot easier

Haven't had much time for it lately, but have plate for making brackets now, and tube for axle will be in tomorrow.
Been helping dad with the fallen building clean-up, and clearing scrap up around the shop, because shop expansion starts soon! ;D

Maybe I missed it but what's the new Wms-wms on the 44 going to be? Custom shafts or some factory lengths?

Same as the rear, 63". Short side will be same a '70's f-150, long side might be custom, but that's no problem for RCV.
