I was in the same boat. Stupid and stubborn and broke so I bought cheap 36" iroks to slap on my 30/44 combo for the YJ. Rear had welded spiders and front had lunchbox locker. Might I add it was an 1988 axle so it's much smaller than the '92+ 297 series. Needless to say I snapped an axle shaft or U-joint in front everytime I went out. But fak did I have fun doing it. Too bad he got arsehurt over it all and left.
