Has anyone hear ever tried to convert a rear Dana 44 to a front 44 for a JK?

Didn't think it was possible where the rear has a centre pumpkin and the fronts a are offset

Just buy a front Dana 44. There not that rare It will be a crazy amount of Money to build a rear dana44 into a front axle, you will still have a crappy Dana 44. put a Dana 60 or 70 into it or if you want to build a axle, build a 14 bolt. Than you have a axle
Why do you need a Dana 44 or bigger any way??

JK front dana 44's are incredibly rare in the maritimes.

Rare bs. 1000's of them. There on all the dealer lots I look 5 mins and I found 3 of them Yes there bent but just re tube that side Or get a good one for $3500 in qc. And get it shipped

The d44 should have been the light duty axle , the Turdy thirty should have been abandoned when it abandoned the the turdy five
