I fell in love with these two as soon as I saw them. The original snow coach, Then when the tours got popular they had this built, I'd give that bar of gold for one.

We pulled into this great little camp ground one night. It is in the middle of nowhere, has 10 sites, all on the lake, no power, no running water, and the cleanest out houses I have ever seen. The owner runs a small generator from 6-10 pm so people can use the wireless to check e-mails. $20 cash /night. Bundle of fire wood for $5. Why do people stay at such a basic park you may ask. The veiw from every site is the same. The lake wraps right around the park and this is what you wake up to. Follow it up by finding that Willys yard 10 min down the road and it is a great start to our day!

Great pics! I love the northern stuff. I can't see me going there for years so I read about it whenever I can.
What lake is that in the last pics? It looks a lot like Dease Lake from the pics I have in an old book.
I don't suppose you have your route traced out on a map of sorts?
After taking Aidan to his first movie on a sold out, rainy Saturday at Bayer's Lake and then fighting the zombies at Costco, I could use a several thousand mile trip with minimal people!!! ;D

Dease Lake BC, one of the prettest in the middle of nowhere(insert any Canadian Location because most of the country is nowhere) we were at on this trip. And yes I can't wait to get back to nowhere.

I highly recommend you read all books by R.M. Patterson

I was just going through the pictures and found a couple more.. This is the type of snowmobile I'd love to have. There seemed to be quite a few of them on the parries. Notice all the bugs in the air. We think they must have all been pushed out of the feilds due to the flooding, there were millions of them right at the edge of the flooded areas.
