I also noticed right away that is was a Fargo. wish it were for sale. would make a good road trip to buy it and bring it home. I just plugged it in from your place Dan. It is only 7416km away! Dam then you have to come back, with it in tow.

The Snow Coach can sure make a Jeep look small. That highway between Jasper and Lake Louise has to be one of my favorite highways! Did that drive a few times Hell of a trip. LOVE the pictures but makes me miss the days I used to live out west

Ok soo weirdest thing.. I'm driving along on the parrie minding my own business when I notice a sign Trucks use lower gear 8% grade, check brakes now. I'm thinking WTF! We are on the parries how can I go down?? Well you can into a prehistoric lake area known as the Drumheller Badlands The landscape is bizare What are these you ask? They are known as Hoodoos We thought the same thing. All you see is flat then suddenly you are driving down into a valley Did you make it to the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller?

I'm so jealous! I want to go there! The only way we were able to do so was by saving at every angle we could for two years. Took the Jetta instead of the jeep every time we could to save fuel( even if we were only going 4 km to get milk). Didn't eat out more than once a month. Bought meats on sale, bought veggies direct from the farmers. It all made a difference, we plan to keep doing the same thing now that we are home, it is amazing how much you can save. Yes it sucks when friends call and say lets go out to supper, and you have to say, no we went out last week call us next month. But was it worth it??? Oh Ya!!!! ;D

Hey I just noticed that this has been veiwed more times than the Password info thread. That's funny It is a world-class Jeepin' thread, man! Top notch. Jeep should be giving you payola for the free advertizing of the lifestyle. I'm glad you took the time to share your adventure with the forum. One of the best threads this year for sure. Jan

I forgot to mention we met these guys in Whitehorse. What a great couple. Everywhere you see a dot on the map they have been. I asked them what they were going to do next and she replied "Fill in the dots!" Now thats a trip!!!

LMFAO Creepy...truck has Aids lmao.
Your adventure must have been phenomenal, something to remember always and something to make everyone here jealous with.
I'd write and send those pics and your story to a magazine. Hands down one of the best trips I've ever seen. Can't believe something from Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler made it though...50000km on my wife's 09 Journey and the brakes all had to be replaced, 1 caliper and the rotors. Your trip almost brings my faith back.

I was pretty happy with how the Jeep worked for us. I think I'll keep it. The original plan was to use it for the trip then sell it off when we got home. If the weather ever gets nice I'd try the soft top thing. Since returning home I gave it a good cleaning and a set of plug wires. So far that is all it needed. We have only put about 5000km on it since we got back so when it's time for the next oil change I'll check brakes , ball joints and alike to see how bad the Dempster pounded the rig

Just getting around to put away the stuff from the trip. Removed the gravel guard from the bush bar and added the trophy plate. You have to get there to get one. It was worth the drive. ;D
