Ya I'm pretty happy with how the graphics turned out. I had them made on magnets this time as I only want them on every now and then. The truck has been mine for about 10 yrs now and we use it for distillery photo ops once or twice a year so I didn't want anything that I couldn't take off quickly. Hard to believe I'll be putting the plow on it in another month or so. This year flew by! As for the plate, it is like a tatoo for the Jeep! I'll have to get mine finished now that I've conqured the Arctic Circle

I was just under the Jeep pulling the last of the gravel from the Dempster Highway off of the skid plates. I realized that it was 6 months ago today that we crossed the Arctic Circle. Man time flies by! I'm going to bag up the gravel and throw it in the loft. I'll take it back with me when I go back in 10 yrs.

I'd write and send those pics and your story to a magazine. Hands down one of the best trips I've ever seen. Can't believe something from Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler made it though...50000km on my wife's 09 Journey and the brakes all had to be replaced, 1 caliper and the rotors. Your trip almost brings my faith back. Well a year ago today we left for the trip. I wish I could leave again today. We put a little over 51,000 kms on the Jeep since then. Knock on wood we have only replaced one rear caliper and a set of rear rotors and pads ;D Mind you I'll have to replace the tires soon, and god only knows what else may be ready soon, but I'm some kind a happy with this Jeep! It may be a keeper?

Sweet pic. That looks like the one down in Lunenburg. If so I sold him the rims for it. He runs a whale watching tour boat.

It is hard to believe this was only two years ago. It seems like a life time has passed since then.
I got the Jeep rust proofed yesterday as I'm hoping in 8 yrs time to take the same Jeep back North. By that time the kids had better be on their own! I'm hoping to stay North for the winter, if there is still a winter in the North by then.
PS knock on wood but all the Jeep has needed since the trip is brakes and tires.
I'm loving this thing!

Hey Ken, just read this thread for the first time and brings back memories. A little different route but a similar trip to explore some of the wonders that this country has to offer. In 2006, we took off from Bancroft, ON in a PT Cruiser GT. Me, Debbie and our 6 year old son who missed the last week of Sr. Kindergarten. We took pics of every big thing along the way from Bancroft, to Sudbury (Big Nickel), Wawa (Big Goose), Sault Ste. Marie (Big Loonie), Kenora (Big Muskie), etc. Across the Prairies with a detour to Dog River in SK. On through AB and to Drumheller and the Tyrell, to Grand Prairie and into BC then north on the Leard Highway to visit Debbie's brother and family in Fort Simpson just in time for July 1st festivities. He's a biologist with Parks Canada and got us aboard a float plane into Nahanni and Virginia Falls (2x higher than Niagara). Left to come home on the YellowHead Hwy and after 3 weeks and 10,000+kms we arrived back home. Bought a new DSLR before we left and took over 2000 photos. ps: I think our son has been scarred for life because he missed a week of school, but he had a great time in the float plane, giving the pilot directions (when he wasn't filling his barf bag(s). Very rough flight out during a lightning storm. He's 13 now and still mentions some of the things we saw and did that summer. Before heading south for a vacation, I highly recommend seeing some of this country first. It is totally incredible and driving is definitely the best way to experience it.
