Wish I had the skills time and place to do this type of stuff. I have the desire but none of the rest. If I did I could have made my own lower control arms Very nice works guys! That HD diff cover is sweet! New career for Mark! I could use an apprentice, you mind sweeping floors? ;D Sweeping is fine with me but the commute would be a biatch ;D

I'll be getting some new CJ rotors for Jeff's project, I can measure one up for you. I'd measure them on my CJ, but they go on the backside of the hub, so it's not easy to get at.
They should fit on the backside of your axle flange. You'd have to pull the axles to put them on, but it would probably many years before you had to replace them.

I think we still have the d30 out of the Scrambler out back at the shop, I can use that to check the CJ rotors. I also have found that Trackers and F-150's have 5 on 5.5 as well. Hoping to find a combination of parts that are run of the mill off the shelf stuff, that way should I need replacements it won't cost me a fortune and weeks of waiting.
Jeff's new axles are 5 on 5.5? will they be rear disk as well?

That's a damn fine piece of work!!! Looks like you may hold more gearoil than stock as well?? And, how about a list of parts you used for the disc brake swap? Everything I found is in here nsjc.proboards38.com/index.cgi?board=tech&action=display&thread=1169774225Also depends on your rear axle If you have any other questions let me know I can not believe the difference in the braking it is like night and day

he wound up scoring it and bending it and filling it with weld. he mentioned it will be easier to just cut the peices seperately next time.
