Got my roll bar pretty much finished up over yesterday and today other then some finish welding but I'm kinda un decieded about the down bars to tie into the tube bed. That way or... This way, I leaning towards the bend on the outside since it would protech better but I dunno.

top pic, with the top at the top of the cab corner.
two more tubes from the downbar bends to the middle of the top of the cab.
main hoop looks some tight on the cab. nice. you prob don't want to be driving a big hairy exo around here.

Ya its real tight to the body and a biiiitch to re fit once I had everything fully welded up. In the leg pieces I have 6 different bends on 3 different planes trying to follow the body lines. Not too bad for a cheapo kinker!!
I have more pics but there on me phone so I'll post them later.
I will need to get some more pipe to make the down bars, all I had left from a length was the two 3 footers I was testing with. I'm goin to have to get creative with the top bars to finish the exo as the hoop is soo close at the top its almost part of the cab.
But tighter is better hahaha

Nice job fitting your bar to the cab.Looks sweet! As for the down bars I'd go with the first pic,but fasten them up closer to the top of the main bar.

Thanks for the props guys!!
I got the two downbars cut and bent but figureing out the right copes for the top then the corresponding miter angle on the bottom stopped me pretty quick.
I'm goin to talk to the welder at work tomorrow and see what thinks...he used to build roll cages for race cars when our shop was Crooks Mechanical.
Oh Jan where did you buy that pin thing to mark out the copes?

Got my downbars stiched on yesterday afternoon, going to fully weld everything up on Saturday plus add two more smaller bars up to the center of the main hoop. Stopped by CVO to pick up my top shift case that Jeff brought up for me from Jonny5, thanks again dudes Pulled the interlock pin at lunch so i can make up a set of twin sticks. So next big project will be to swap out my G58 chain t-case/tranny/clutch for a brand new clutch, w56 and clocked dual cases with my high rise crossmember to be ready for Rues run.....oh and slap my diry 30s in once they get here.
