Well i must have looked like i was going to cry at Access when i got denied for lack of a "sold as is" form.
It was clearly stated on my receipt from U-Haul the trailer was sold "as is", and we both signed in that spot, but it wasn't good enough for Access. They needed it on their form.
The very kind clerk gave me a card so i could jump line, and a suggestion on how to rectify my situation in the parking lot with a simple check mark, and that she was going to lunch in 20 minutes and to wait till she was gone, and the next clerk should breeze me thru.
Wow!! I finally got this damn thing in my name and got a plate!!!!!! Thx to the great clerk at Access. She sympathized with the U-Haul border/title sob story, and found me a way to get out of there legal.
Now to throw the brakes on it and get it inspected. Should be smooth sailing!

Dragging this thread up from the dead. Quick review - The trailer hasn't needed any maintenance and it tows great. Hook 'er up and tow. I made a jackstand for loading, so when you drive up on the back of the trailer, the hitch and tow rig don't jerk up in the air. Not much to it...I didn't like seeing the truck get jerked around. Should be good for a laugh when I leave it down and pull away.
