It's hard to take it all apart and paint it once you have driven it. That's why mine got the rattle can 1 hr special.

Thx. I didn't paint the tubes above the shoulderline. Might do grey there too, like the belly and interior.
Black and aluminum looks good, easy choice.

The rad hoses coming out of the frame and into the rear rad were open to the tire, wanted to make guards for them. And had to make an overflow bottle for the rad. I got a bottle out of the parts barn that had a cap and made brackets to mount it. Tucked above rad hose, room for rad air to move. Didn't want to put it back against rad. painted the guard grey, but didn't like it. Hose area can take some stuff hitting it now. Lightweight but stiff protection. On the other side, made this. Lots of dimples, it works mint in the 22G steel. 1/8" steel below. Bent it up, bolted the mounts on, and tacked it in place. then weld in the mounts The shocks aren't close, pic makes it look like that. couple inches clearance.
