nice stuff Jonathan. there is a bit of wiggle with the "20% duty cycle". when I was working on my frame, I often would just leave the welder on the hottest setting, and just burn until my hands were hot. I definately went well past the rated cycle. as for the wire, that's good that you got some that works better. are you using a heavier wire, like .035? that will give you the best burn on sheet metal.
really looking good, I can't wait to see some more.

Welds look great. Fresh flux core always works better than stuff sitting in a welder in a cold damp shop for a couple of years.

Hoping to get the frame finished this weekend (second in a row I've said that.) I plan to get the tires mounted at a friend's place early next week and then get started on the rear axle. Nice weather lately is reminding me that Spring is coming... Starting to feel the pressure!

D44/9" to start. Might upgrade the 44 with alloy shafts (or RCVs?) if there is $ left at the end of the project.
I bought a complete rolling chassis as a donor a couple years ago for super cheap so the cost of swapping these in is minimal (and I enjoy doing the work).
