They are two inches farther out than stock. It's the mount I am not sure I like. We will see.

Ya....I was looking at those too. Not sure I like my mirrors out farther....especially when out wheeling in tight woods trails.

I give the mirrors an 'ugly' as well. They are not 'clean' looking, that's all. Works fine tho, actually works better since they stick out farther. Might have to live with it.
Winch setup looks great, that is a big one.
edit - made a boo-boo on the rope sizing comment. The snatch loads aren't doubling the force on the rope. The rope won't see more than what the winch can produce. (12K) its the tree strap tied to the snatch and tree that will see double the load. (24K)
So your rope capacity (30K) is over double the forces the winch can produce, (12K) you should be good not to break it! You have a huge safety margin.

That's what I am thinking... In the grand scheme of things, it's 40$. Not the end of the world if it does not work out.

Nice! Haven't seen a hook like that before. Looks like a hoisting hook, the booms trucks we us have them on their slings. Keep it well lubed, they are a bugger if they get a little dry

Like Scott says... It's such a good idea, I stole it and used it myself. Thanks again man for your help and supervision. I am NOT a fabrication genius (I know, I know, this is news to everyone)and your assistance is, as always, invaluable. Scott was also saying that the price for shitty, broken, TJ hardtops will now go up. LOL. This top has a couple of chips on the leading edge that I was unable to sand out, but no matter, when I find another top I will modify it and sell this one. Next time it's gonna be white. In any case, it's a much more solid alternative than the soft bikini/safari top, and looks pimp.

Len picked up a new Borla header , to replace the cracked factory cast header . here is the install Len's jeep is so , high , hard to work on . Off come the tires and down on the ground it goes New headers Here is the crack in the old one Intake all cleaned up , ready for install I'll share here an install secret , cut this hole open ( X2 ) , these are placed on a steel dowel pin protruding out from the head Head all cleaned up Handy tool to have ! excellent for cleaning up any place that has a gasket I had to replace a damaged flange , I cut one off an exhaust that I had laying around and welded it on Len's Place the gasket and headers in , start all the bolts ( now the intake just slips down on the pins , no trying to start bolts with both the header and intake in place ) < this saves 30 -45 mins Installed the new oxygen sensors before the header was placed in All done , it took 10 hours to install

Spiffy.
No real change to the sound. Seat of the pants is minimal at best. Has lifetime warranty against failure from Borla.I will report back on gas mileage if there is any effect. Looks good, and it made my wallet lighter. As far as bang-for-the-buck mods go, this one gets a 4/10... 3 of that is for the warranty.
Thanks man for fitting me in!

re: install trick - Those cut holes just go over a pin, they aren't bolt holes? Did the new header look better in the cut/welded area? (I thought I saw the return one at CVO on the floor yesterday, made me wonder if you got the new one) Len - the stockers are pretty good flow-wise, I guess that's the lack of seat-of-the-pants difference. Its not like putting headers on an old V8 with restrictive cast manifolds. That's like driving a rocketship the first few days. Nice parts, was looking at them at Scott's the other day.
