What happened when the DRL module burnt out ? What are the symptoms ? Did you loose any other lights / indicators/ features ? The reason I ask is : Our DRLs are powered by the module 4 ish volts on the high beam side. I am using my factory plug to signal my relays, and by default feeding a 4 volt signal to my relay.. It takes 8 volts to trigger the relay, I am concerned that over time my high beam relay may heat up over time due to the un-wanted voltage that is feed when the headlights are not turned on. So .... I may be interested in one of your burnt out DRL modules .. If the only fault was the DRL not lighting up. Good luck !!

Always, when the DRL module is toast, the highbeam indicator is on and the lights are on. until the DRL module is unplugged. No other problems. Just that. Doubt you'd want the burnt ones.
There were some posts here about the same module being used on other chrysler vehicles...neon, etc. Plentiful in junkyards. So I may buy another now that I've changed the switch and cleaned up grounds.
Good info about the voltage. Thanks.

Couldn't leave well enough alone. Against advice, I removed these to install new mirror brackets. Torx T40. I smacked em with a hammer a couple times before using a breaker bar. They let go with a crack. They have never been out. The threads inside were all shiny and clean. Cool. Glad to have a passenger side mirror. Felt unsafe without it. New longer bolts in the kit were used instead of re-installing the oem t40 junk. The internal threads were soaked with lube a number of times before install. and then I found a tiny rust hole in the floor behind the passenger seat. Looks like a soon to be victim of Scott's Hammer of Dooooom.

Driver side mirror done. They are a lot smaller than Jeep mirrors but there's two of them so that's fine. Can actually see the passenger side. I replaced all the torx that I dared to remove without an impact driver.

The driver side wasn't adjusted in that pic. But yes they are different. So they clear the door edge, visible from the driver seat.
Rugged Ridge is the brand. They are flat. If they had been convex, they would be perfect. I may add a small convex mirror to them.

I'm going to give those bestop seat covers a 7.8 out of ten. They changed them and they don't fit like the ones that came out of the Jeep. Those ones were probably ten years old. The oem seats are mint underneath.

I signed up for Sirius radio and they sent me a new radio... Starmate 8. I had a Starmate 5 that I bought from Scott... the old one is a better radio, more features. it's in the car. I put the new one in the TJ. Works well. Antenna is mounted inside under the soft top. Radio is wired direct to the deck, aux in. This Clarion deck was the best mod I've ever done to the Jeep... Steve-O installed at CVO. Still awesome after years of abuse.
