well, that is all good information. It sound that they will look good on my 8", but how are they going to wear?
It is my dayly vehicle and I actually work with the jeep.
What is the price of those tires from a local dealer and from who?

I have a 91 YJ, 4 ltr HO, standard tranny, 4:11 dana 30 in the front and 35 in the back, I ran 33" tires for over a year with no problem at all.
I recently put in new 35" truxus, 2 minutes in the trail I blew up the front and rear axles. Just like Chopchop said if you are heavy foot like I was, you will pay for, I did.
I now have the same set up but with a locker in the rear. I have been twice in the trail so far and no problem. But I did not push hard and I do not intend to. Because I believe I am to the limit for breakage. As I said before LISTEN to what Andre recommend. I will from now on.

Is anyone knows if a transmission from a 92 XJ (5 speed) will fit on a 91 YJ Also a 5 speed. I already fitted the engine from the XJ to the YJ last month and the tranny let go.... Mickey

Is anyone can tell me, if a 92 XJ computer is compatible to a 91 YJ? Both are 4.0 liters, standard transmission.
I blew up the YJ engine last week and I am intending to take the engine from my racing XJ as a replacement. But, first I want to test run that XJ engine. It has been sitting for 2 years. Coincidentally, I sold the XJ computer last month, hence the only computer I have is the fitted in the YJ.
Of course, I do not remember to whom I sold it to, so I can not borrow it back for a few minutes.
Now can you see where I am standing? And all this is because (perhaps) I was standing in too deep water during the Myra road run last months.
Here are some precautions that I will take:
Inspect the oil pan and replace the gasket. Take a compression test Change the head cover gasket Full tune up Engine coolant pressure test. Inspect the clutch Any thing else you can suggest?
Also, if you know of any difference there is to know between the swap, please let me know.

I was there. It was a young kid that was on his way to a friend's camp. Funny that he was there at the same time we were too. He kept up really good.

Well, here I am on vacation in Saskatoon and there is no Jeep club here or should I say almost no Jeep neither to say, but a lot of pick up trucks. Most of them are chev. and GMC very well done up. I would swear that they never put them in 4x4, I think they are poser.....

Well, for some of you this might be good and bad for some others. I came to conclusion that I ran out of trails to explore in the HRM region . So on the 15 Aug. I am moving out from Beaver Bank. I should be in my new place on the 31 Aug, down in Torbrook, somewhere between Middleton and Greenwood. I heard that there are a few trails that might be challenging for me . The worst of it, I will not be able to afford the flat bed/tow truck to take my Jeep to APJ for them to modify and really to fix the old YJ when it breaks. Thank you Andre and your team for everything you have done for me and to my Jeep. I will have to make a trip once in a while, till I find a place or someone in the valley to take care of my JEEP.
