I was just reading the jeep wave scoring:
The Modifying Sub-Categories (MSCs): (What you do with it) MSC Guidelines: 1. MSCs must be considered during all Jeep encounters, and wave patterns must be adjusted accordingly. 2. MSC 5 is the median - the accepted norm. 3. MSCs from 1 through 4 will increase score as listed. 4. MSCs 6 and 7 will decrease score as listed. MSC 1: Top off; vehicle, driver, and all occupants covered with mud: +30 MSC 2: Top partially off; vehicle and some occupants covered with Mud: +20 MSC 3: Top on; vehicle covered with mud: +10 MSC 4: Top off during snow, sleet, hail, or heavy rain: +5
Who ever formulated this and appointed the score of +5 for the MSC4 was not with us this weekend for the topless run. At some point of time, I would had scored it at +40.

Ok now I understand that it the trail that is rated. From what I see, I over rated myself. Hence, I do not think that me and my Jeep will be able to do an 8 or 9 rated trail. So what do you think that me and my Jeep would be able to do and in the same time find it challenging? Mickey

I am trying to figure out my rating. I was looking at the rating on this site. I think, I could be an 8 or perhaps a 9. Some of you saw me this weekend, (the yellow 91 YJ, with the snow plow gear).
I also did the the New year's Burnt Lake trail there was a lot of broken ice approximately 6" thick.
Also what is the meaning of = shelves xx"
Let me know what you think, please do not hurt my ego Hahaha

Is anyone knows Rob (old yeller) phone #? If so, could you give him a ring and ask him to call Mickey 865-5004 or 221-7836. I want to know if he would sponsor me into the club.
Thanks, Mickey

Is anyone from the Jeep Club living around Port Royal or more precisely Delaps Cove, or anyone who actually knows the roads around those locations. It would be good because I have some questions. I am looking into buying some land between the north and the south of the mountain (138 acres) I can see some good trails perhaps. drop me a line if you have any knowledge please.
I might be going back this weekend if I can find a GPS, to do some exploring.

I have a video clip of a JEEP popping one, but I do not know how to put it in here. I tried the copy and paste and it does not work. If someone can tell me how please.
