15" rim size, better than 80% tread My friend sean blew a sidewall in one tire, and has since gotten rid of the truck. 3 tires in great shape remaining, to be removed from the rims and sold. Buy 2, or just 1 for a spare. $60 each reasonable?

I'm skeptical that it is in the shape you say it is. As Jan says, YJ's are old.
Have a GOOD look around the steering box area, mine totally went to hell there, and the whole front 2ft of frame needed to be replaced. Check the body mounts at the body itself for busting through. A seedy body will have broken through mounts, especially with a bodylift. If the body and frame are indeed good as you say they are, then absolutely buy it right away for that price.
YJ's in general are not in that good of shape, unless they have been restored, or imported from the states, lol.
Good luck! Rob D

Keep in mind that power brakes use a very high operating pressure. Your rubber line is likely inflating like a balloon, seriously affecting your braking ability.
You can add in a new section of hardline, using the proper union, but your best bet is to replace the whole run. You may also find that all of your lines are getting pretty seedy, and is a good idea to do them all. The others are likely close behind.

Just keep in mind that if you are getting just the springs, without an actual kit, there will be some things you will need to do before the lift works well. Shocks, extended/relocated brake lines, drop pitman arm, trac bar and sway bar links all should be addressed.
Be sure to take some before and after pics too! Not many YJ's still kicking around like there used to be!

Ebay may be your best bet for crap like that. I ended up finding a good crank assembly for my kawasaki bayou on ebay for cheap, after searching everywhere local to no avail. Make sure you have very good communication back and forth for used parts. You want to be certain that it is going to work for you before you buy.

Pretty much every open top jeep had a shovel under there to catch crap. NOW is the time they decide its unsafe?
I would skip this recall, and just hose the skid plate out like everyone else does, and carry on.

Yea, simply replace your packs with lifted packs. 3.5" is a good number to go, and still stay sprung under to fit 33's, but a 2.5 would fit the 31's you want easily. Skip the Add-a-leaf lifts. They suck, and assume your current leaf packs are in good shape, which 90% of the time, they arn't.
The biggest bonus you get is throwing out the old flat/reversed springs, and having new warrentied ones. (Some, like BDS are lifetime)

A lot of 4-wheelers are pretty fussy on the type of oil. Most automotive oils have detergents and other junk that is good for a car, but not good for a wet clutch. It may be as simple as changing oil to a proper ATV/motorbike oil. Make sure to clean the clutches with kerosene or the like if you are changing oils.

Buy the Proboards app. You get none. Sent from Samsung Galaxy S III Why would I do that? The board itself is being paid for to remove the ads, so that should be the end of it. If anything, I would pay the money to Jan to keep it ad free for everyone. Rob D

Ads are gone again. They are by far the worst on a mobile device. The jumping scrolling ad that blocks 1/4 of your screen gets old real quick.
Heres hoping they stay away.

You should buy that rob !! He just got a new sticker he wont be looking for anything for probably 2 more years Lol, half true. The other half is that I am in house shopping mode. This would take away from my down payment fund. First house/garage, then vehicles! Rob D
