of those 3 options, I'd go with the 241. if you have an electronic shifter, you're asking for something to go wrong when it gets wet. you can't put a assenger drop t-case in if you have driver's drop axles, unless you have like a d300 and flip it. even if you have to make an adapter plate for the 241, you have something that will be straight-forward. complicating things asks for trouble. make the plate, or buy it, and bolt it up , you will be better off.
Like Scott said though, your truely best option would be to not worry about any of the ones you have, and get a 231, and swap in Chev guts.

Thanks Alan, I'm tired of digging that up. can we possibly have a thread made for this and stickied on the top of the tech section or something?

pull your front cover off, there should be timing marks on all of your gears in the front.
Edit. borrowed from a cummins forum Locate TDC on engine and lock into place with the locking pin. Then lock the pump with the locking pin on the side of the IP. It is covered by a nut. Remove the nut and pull the pin. Then flip it around and install with the slot facing inwards. It will lock the pump if your timing is set at stock or close to stock.
this way you can pin it, and see if the pump is still in time. if not, loosen the nut on the pump shaft and break the injection pump gear loose, and roll the engine by hand until the engine timing marks on the gears line up.

In order to become a member of the NSJC, you must participate in at least 3 (three) club sanctioned monthly runs, and have gone to at least one previous meeting in one of our three Chapters (Valley, Halifax, or North Nova). after you have fullfilled the requirements, the members of the chapter meeting you are attending will have a vote to bring you into the Club.

the improvement of using Yj gear is that it has a toe rod from knuckle to knuckle, so when you lift the Jeep or youy suspension cycles, your toe-in/out doesn't change. it also seems to be a fairly strong. I don't know how much it costs compared to TJ for new, but there are probably lots of YJ axles out there with decently used stuff.
I can't tell you it's a good upgrade, but if I were going to have t replace my stuff anyways, I'd think about it, anyways.

that sounds familiar same as the dash lights. they are held in with black, grey or brown twist-locks on the back of the board.

I'm down for this too, Steph will come also and do whatever she can to help. will bring the welder if it will help any, and a grinder or two. I'm not fussy about what days you wanna do stuff, the schedule is fairly open.

nice stuff.... I'd like to see it to believe it, but I can't see them advertising something that is blatantly false.
